Error Experts: What is this?

    What’s going on here on the rim? It does not appear to be displaced metal from a hit.

    Looks to be a bit of Finning.

    Finned rim and I also see a bit of a Lamination on and under the numeral 2.

    It doesn't look like an internal die break to me. I see some lamination under the 2. If another lamination error like that broke free from a previous coin and stuck in the die, then it looks to me like the "glob" is a strike through with the copper flake pressed into the struck design.
