Error coins or post mint???

The first is a 1985D quarter and what's strange about this one is that it is completely worn around the rim of the coin on both sides. It looks like an old silver quarter to me. The second is a 1986D penny with its copper coating completely missing. It looks like a well used 1943 steel penny to me and has a dent near the date. The third is a 1992D quarter with the whole obverse just looking different but especially around the rim of the coin, I can take a better scan of this one if needed.

Kind of curious about these and if they are post mint, I'm wondering how the damage was done to the first two coins.
    Thanks for any help,
    nos

Not sure about the quaters but the cent looks burned. Does not take much to burn the copper off a cent! The quarters although not sure what happened looks post mint.

The rims were filed on the quarter.

Quarter on the left and cent are both post-mint abuse.

The quarter on the right, I can't be sure without a better (larger) picture.

    Thanks,

Yep, somebody got frisky thinking he could improve on what the did.
Ind all coins Post Mint Damage. Notice almost all the high points are smoothed.

Well, it took a year but I got some replies. Thanks for the opinions. I don't know why but I think that it would be fun if I could do what was done to the 1985 quarter to a few state quarters.
