I have this 1934 penny. I want to know if this is an error in the coin. Any help on this greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
I don't know how long you've been collecting coins or where you got your start, but I'd suggest that you learn how coins are made before you start looking for errors. This damaged coin is so far "off the grid" that I suspect you'll be wasting a lot of your time until you have a reasonable understanding of the minting process. Chris
