Error $20 bill?

    So the serial number inking is very thick that you can see it through the back of the bill. Will that be considered an error? 2016-04-13_15.15.33.jpg

    Sorry but cannot tell you anything by such a small photo. Try to focus in just on the serial number. A scanner will work for bills also and you can enlarge the pixel size before you scan the final photo.

    Im going to say no not an error, a little over inking is common.

    If you left click the OP's photo you can enlarge the image.

    Very minor over inking.......no premium over face value.

    Most likely a defective or out of adjustment "wiper" blade that presses against the printing head cylinder.

    No runs, no hits, no errors in those pictures. Do you know what we need to see? We need to see a perfectly straight-on picture that will enable us to tell if the sides are exactly parallel and at right angles to the top and bottom. If they're not, something's out of whack.
