So I found this in circulation and it looks like a mint error, its scratched up on the obverse so I don't expect it to be worth much, but have any of you seen this and a guess to its value? Both the "blobs" are raised and the opposite sides do not show any kind of punch marks that would create this.

You might get better photos if you took the coin out of the 2X2.

Based on what I can see in your photos the coin may have been in a fire (or otherwise heated). A small air bubble in the coin could have expanded when the clad layers were heated to a high temperature. When the coin cooled the bubble remained. The scratches may have been created in an attempt to clean up the coin and hide any evidence of being in a fire.

And the almost a word of the day is "pardisulacous". But the coin looks like it was punched from the reverse. PMD

Why, if you have nothing of any value to say, do you feel as though you must say it anyway?

Correct, so why do you? You can't expect everyone to explain every event here to you just because your not paying attention. You have to figure some things out for yourself.
