I have a 1968 s ,,it is double stamp that the mint Mark and the whole front of Lincoln's Face and chest is doubled ,, I was reading online that the 1968 s is in the same category as the 1969s Lincoln cent,, I was wondering if the value was the same??
In those years, the mint mark was punched into the working die after it was ready to go, so that if both were doubled, the highest probability is that the whole die was moved by machine ( mechanical) doubling and of no value over the normal. It is hard to say more without a photo. Welcome to the forum!
