    Eric BloodAxe (I got spellchecked)

    I love this design, a Niuean coin just received today: B3F42E43-99A8-42AB-B4CE-5A15DDFC7EC9_1_201_a.jpeg
    No pansy he, my Swedish Grandmother would NOT have approved. But he appears a lot more Viking-like than the somewhat soft version on the 1925 Norse Centennial.

    The coin has extreme relief not even fully shown on the below. Also the reverse with ?nonsensical runic inscription around edge:

    The runic inscription on the reverse is the full Elder Futhark alphabet.
