I’ve seen thousands of scratched and gouged coins, scratched and mutilated and almost always the metal separates from this damage I noticed this running along the obverse and then flipped it over and noticed another small line going through the T and E in United States. I’m going to let the experts take a look...any ideas what this is? It’s a 1999 cent..thanks.

It's a linear plating blister. Minor issue on copper plated zinc cents.

Is that the same minor error running through the speared bison by some chance?

    No..
Speared bison is a gouge on the Die.. Nickels are not plated so they can't have blisters. But that was a good question.
