Thanks Bob! I noticed we've lost a few images on different presentation threads over the last year. This happens when we break links in our image hosting accounts. No biggie if someone needed to remove an image for whatever reason, but I have an idea about how to fix it so it happens less to the SEG Presentation record. I know RickieB has a bunch of new ideas for the group that he's working on and one of mine that has become apparent in organizing these past presentations is how we can preserve presentations. With member approval and perhaps a way to store files online, I'm compelled to begin copying individual presentations into a basic layout template and saving them as downloadable PDF, a universal file format, much like some members posted their original presentations, I'm thinking of DaveM's, clayirving's, and Art's -- Google Documents, PDFs, .doc files. I will keep thinking about how to approach it and bring it up to others when it seems relevant. I'm open for ideas on how to tackle this and where to store files for retrieval, not sure if CT has an archive we may access indefinitely.

Great idea Chris,it would be a shame to lose them, By storing in PDF file they will be preserved. Let hope your bumping the presentations up will spur new & old members to sign up.
