Engraved American Banknote Company Checks

I liked the other thread so much (about the checks) that I wanted to post these.
From what I am told..the American Banknote Co attempted to market "Engraved Personal checks" and it was not a success.....I personally would love to have embossed checkes like these.....

Holy moly! Those would be sweet, especially along with my District collection for STL! I esp love the SoL check... bridges the two cities.

 

Those are nice! Much nicer than the junk checks you see advertised in those mail packs.

I just checked that bank account, and there is $130,000,000.00 in it.

LOL... these accounts were never even established..and date back decades ago...nothing valid at all. I have blurred the numbers on purpose.

Beautiful checks Rickie,something new to me (ABNCo checks),I wonder if you could have your bank make a custom check with a vignette(out of or expired ABNCo copyright ) on it ?

Here is the cover of a book of cashier checks made by ABNC. Unfortunately, the checks themselves are lithographed and without a vignette so they are boring and not worth showing.
