Does anyone have a copy of English Gold Coinage Volume II (1816-1971) by Maurice Bull? I'm thinking of getting a copy but is there anything new in it? Or is it comparable to Michael A Marsh's book (and its more up-to-date reprints)?
Not as good as the 6th Edition & there were two editions of the 7th produced. One with appendix and citations of coins listed (or not) in the main text & where the provenance can supposedly be sourced to and the other with no such appendix and priced more cheaply. Now ESC is getting to be release in supposedly a "non" Bull edition and I have no idea what that means.
Oh I might the gold coin book. But yes I've seen there's meant to be another Rayner edition - due in September this year maybe?
