i have these two english £1 bank notes and they are UNC and presented in folders, they were issued as free gifts by scotch video cassettes and dairy crest company, but cannot find anywhere anything about the value of these notes presented in these folders, the chief cashier is D H F Somerset and the numbers are DW76817857 and DW70692851, folder, notes and condition as seen in the picturs attached, if any1 can assist me that will be great, thank u
no they werent specimens m they are ACTUAL £1 notes, from 1981 that we dont use anymore so they were given out as a gift, just i can find nothing on anything about them, plenty on unc notes on there own but nothing in a presentation folder, if any1 else knows of anything , any help would be good. thank u
they look like normal pounders to me, world catalog P-377b, with uncirculated values of $8.00 each. if they were specially made for scotch/dairy crest, it would be a different story, but it looks like scotch/dairy crest just took normal notes and placed them in their own holders, which doesn't add any special value.
