The coins are listed at no-reserve, and the pieces were consigned to Scottsman. Online bidding will end around noon on October 17, 2014, followed by a live auction in St. Louis. Bidding can also be achieved in ways other than online and physical participation in the live auction. Here is a FAQ for anyone who might have interest.

1886 NGC MS64RB Type I Indian Head Cent - Link

1894-S NGC MS64 Morgan Dollar - This issue is a better date, and comes with nice light toning that adds to its eye appeal. In my obviously biased opinion, it looks better than the other 64 offered in this auction and many of the pieces that I see offered by large auction houses in MS64 holders. I like it a lot for the MS64 grade level. Link

1840-O NGC XF45 Gold $2.50 - This is a first year of issue for the New Orleans Mint for this series and is a better date. Very few coins exit in higher grades and most are heavily abraded and have negative eye appeal. This coin has clean surfaces, and I believe the coin to be original. It has very pleasing color, which is unusual for the issue. It looks slightly darker in color in hand, and is very attractive. The coin does have a weaker strike, that is common among the issue. Fully struck issues are a rarity. PCGS Coin Facts has a very nice write up concerning the issue for those interested, and includes insights from Doug Winter on the issue for an objective perspective. I like it better than many of the pieces I have seen auction in the last couple of years, and I hope the market agrees with me. Link
