End to End die Crack *need second opinion*

    Jon, this is a great exmple of a scratch on the coin after it left the mint. Notice how it has a recess with a raised sides. If it were a die crack it would be a solid raised line with no recess in it. Die cracks are common at the corners of the lincoln memorial on the reverse of cent running from the building to the rim of the coin, especially on 1983's. Look for this and check them out with a loop (magnifyer) and you will see the difference. Good luck searching.

    yes and then i noticed the different color on it(not sure you can see it well in the pic) but i'm glad to have a second opinion thanks
