It sticks in my craw that nepotism has been given roost at the US Mint. I mean, these ladies are not ELECTED. I say we all mount a campaign to reestablish control of coin collecting for coin collectors. We don't need the HUGE money dedicated to making a coin that is produced in the thousands, and nothing for circulating coins which everyone collects. Lets END the wasteful Spouse coin. :smile Any recommendations on how to end first spouse coins?
Maybe I was too blunt. I am still peeved they canked our best, flagship coin. Nepotism is nepotism, after all. But a pitchfork is too extreme, just eliminate the coin, for good.:smile
Copied from the US Mint Press Releases: "The Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) will hold a public meeting at 6:30 p.m. (MT) on Monday, June 28, 2010, at Gaylord Hall, in the Worner Center, on the campus of Colorado College, 902 N. Cascade Ave., Colorado Springs, CO, 80903." I say we all load up and go, wanna join us? Ha Ha :loud::hammer: :headbang:
