Just received my personalized copy of the Encyclopedia of the Commemorative Coins of the US by Anthony Swiatek. Of course, I haven't had a chance to read it yet, but after flipping through the pages I can already feel that this book is going to be terrific.

Please note, this book is not for the faint of heart. It is 700 pages of pure heaven. This is not your average Commemorative coin book that goes over the basics of the coin and maybe shows some pricing. This book dives deeper into each commemorative coin and looks at the history and art that went into developing each coin. It also gives in depth detail to any varieties or any unique points about each coin. The book starts with the 1892 commemorative half dollar and works its way to the 2010 commemorative coins. Also covers obsure topics such as the canceled olympic commemorative dies that were sold by the mint as well as the state quarter series. It covers all commemoratives from 50cents to the 50 dollar Pan-Pac gold coins.

The book is offered online for $150, but if you want to save half, go to Anthony Swiatek's site and write or call him like I did. Book costs $75 shipping included and Mr. Swiatek will personally inscribe your book. He also numbers each book as well. I purchased book #91/500. I look forward to reading the book as time permits.
