    Hello everyone,
First of all, I want to let y'all know that I haven't Metal Detected since Labor Day because of a serious sore back I have been dealing with. :(
It's almost healed so I'm hoping to detect next weekend.

I went to my local cashier in midtown Manhattan and found in the Coinstar reject tray an elongated Cent. A first time find for one of these. I have several that I've metal detected over the years..

It's a Tyrannosaurus Rex. Fun find! :woot:

Post any elongated coins you have collected over the years ;)

That was a cool museum. My father took us there when I was 6 or 7. I believe it was just called the Museum of Natural History back then.

Nice. When I was young, I loved going to the Museum of Natural History here in NYC with my family and school trips. My favorite section was the Rocks and Crystals. It fascinated me so much that I started to collect them. They updated the wing a few years ago and I was able to take my daughter. She started to collect crystals also. (Aesthetically only)

WoW! Cool find. Looks like "split plating issue".
Get well soon. Don't forget the bug spray. ;)
