I am hoping to attend the NY World Show at the Waldorf, I understand that ANR will have some of the collection there for viewing. There is then an auction in March or April I believe it is.
The question is, are these coins untouchable for the average collector? I am waiting on a catalog to see the lots. In the experience of you collectors and dealers in the know, are they attainable? I am talking for under $1000.00?

    Thanks Tony

Not too likely for gold coins these days, but there might be some in the $500-750 range..

From what I have seen so far most of the gold coins in the upcoming Eliasberg auction will go for considerably more than $1000. In the past - the pedigree alone has pushed some coins to 4x - 5x list value.

But there are a few that I am hoping will not go quite that far ;)
