Dear CT Community, I just finished work on the last part of my study - the mysterious EL coins found on Berezan Island. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01MQMISAT I hope it'll be interesting for everyone, who are interested at history of earliest coins. WBR, Ivan
I have the first 3 books in this series already. Is this 4th book the final one in the series @I_v_a_n or do you expect to publish more?
For this moment this is a final. But I hope to start write and publish again, when I'll find an inetesting ideas and topics. I have some interesting ideas for research, but they are need an instrumental support for metall analise and etc. So, I think I'll keep a silence for some (may be even long) period
Dear CT Friends, I have put a 0 price for this my book about scythians electrum from 04 to 06 of December. Enjoy reading, I hope it is interesting for all of our community. And I am waiting for discussions and questions. WBR Ivan
Yes, I want it too But they are little pricey http://cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=317758 http://cngcoins.com/Coin.aspx?CoinID=317759 Personally I am does not follow this lots, but my collegues has inform me that this lots was "clioed" Now the 0 price at amazon activated, so, you can read about this coins and to know much more, than CNG at their description has to write.
Now I have a first reader of my book even at paperback (from FAC) This is a remarkable event and everyone who is an author and publisher will understand me very well Here some another samples, I have forgot that first of all I need to show a table of content.
@I_v_a_n Indeed I understand. Publishing my book was a real milestone for me. Almost no one has read it or will read it as it is an academic book. It also has nothing to do with coins.
As I can suggest at the base of amazon reports there are about 100 readers in english language. There are also about 300 readers of my books at russian language. For me this is a little bit confusing situation, because I have no doubt, that an english speaking community of ancient coins collectors/enthusiasts/researchers a hundreds times more than russian speaking. When I have started a translation into english I have to think about a times more bigger auditory then I have in russian, and I have a hope to return my costs for translation. But now I know that this my work is sacrifice on the altar of numismatics
Thanks Ivan for interesting facts about those discoveries. I learned a lot! I agree with Lord Marcovan's sentiments....I want some of these too!
Thanks, Panzerman for your positive reader's feedback. About a coins, OK, now I exactly know who is a seriously intersted in such things
New EL scythians stater: http://romanumismatics.com/auction/lot/0206/ Hmmmm.... Roma does not read my books
