Egyptian Magic Coins (tokens) are usually made of bronze or brass but not this one:

I have a few of these from odd group lots. I knew they were modern, but never knew what they were for. You are right, mine are copper or brass.

 

Could have been plated with something attractive, environmental damage turns coins ugly.

 

Would be interesting to see what @BadThad VerdiCare would do to it.

 

I don't plan to clean it.
