Hello everyone. I have decided to do a series of Mint Errors from my personal collection that I posted here on CoinTalk in the past. They will be titled.. Ed's Throwback Thursday :woot:

Good stuff for the newer members to see!

Here is Throwback #1 which I posted back in early 2017

    $1 Blank Planchet - 2000-2017 with a
Lamination Bubble. I submitted this error to NGC.

    BTW
I feel like I've reached the end of my Mint Error collecting adventure after almost 37 years! There's really nothing else that I want to acquire so I'm concentrating more on my other hobbies

    Until next time! (Thursday)

@paddyman98 I’d love to see it but where do I look? All I see is a slabbed blank planchet.

Actually Paddy I find that blank amazing. You have a wonderful error collection and I will miss your posts of new error coins. I look forward to seeing your rocks, minerals and crystals. I enjoy them almost as much as I my coins. I have a large collection of them as well as fossils.

Hopefully you’ll find a few more errors in the future that you like and can post. And I don’t mean a found on the ground error. Lol

Thanks for the heads up Ed, but you had better not abandon us or I'll make a trip to NYC and seed every frickin' park with foreign junk coins. LOL

A smal preview of some of my recent buys..

I have about 100 different specimens that I started to collect since late last year. I don't know how I'm going to show them all in a thread when I decide to. I'm going to a huge Rock and Mineral show in Long Island in about 2 weeks. So probably after that show I will start showing them.

Oh.. And I started my collection because of the beauty of them.. Not for any kind of metaphysical or crystal healing stuff. I don't believe in that.

Rocks take up too much room, as do orchids, so I'll stick to coins. Besides, you can't break coins like you can crystal specimens. LOL

Beautiful Aquamarine crystal. Quite gemmy. Where is it from?

If you were to see my display you would be impressed. Tons of small shelving on a wall.
The orchids.. That's my wife's hobby. She does hers and I do mine and we're both happy!

... I am assuming it is no heat. That blue is wonderful.

And that’s the way it should be.

Beautiful specimens Paddy. I didn’t expect such large examples. That blue Aquamarine is stunning. Like my coins, I have so many I can’t possibly show them all. Glad you have a nice collection but I guarantee you one thing, you won’t be digging them in NYC. Lol

And I'm happy for both of you.
Was that an invitation to come see your collection? You have an extra bed? LOL
