Hey all, long time no hear. Hope everyone is well. Question for the day is this. Anyone here familiar with an Ebay power seller that goes by the moniker "tg"? Has a lot up that I am thinking about bidding on. According to E-bay he has a 99.7% rating with over 4k sales(?) if I am reading it right. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Just looking at his items...I think I got the right one... I wouldn't bid...that kind of seller is sometimes good but you never know... I have bid on a thing like that and they never e-mailed me so I didn't get the coins. Speedy
Far more important than the raw percentage number are the actual comments made by negative and neutral buyers. Check him out at http://www.toolhaus.org/cgi-bin/negs?User=tg&Dirn=Received+by The site gathers only the non-positive entries from a complete feedback history, no matter how many there are. Another very nice feature of that site is that mutually withdrawn feedback is included, with a statement about the withdrawal. Many times that withdrawal results from a ripped off buyer getting his refund on condition that the feedback is removed. Sometimes, of course, it really does result from mutual effort to clear up a simple misunderstanding. (If you delete everything after the question mark in the URL, you get a screen that allows you to input any EBayer's ID, and choose to see their Buyer, Seller, or All feedback; or switch to another screen to check all mutual feedback between any two IDs - a useful tool for investigating possible shill bidding.)
