I know that all of u buy from ebay and r pleased but I also know people who paid and were abandoned on ebay and nothing could be done. cant people just easily lie to sell their coins on ebay?
You are right. Unfortunately, that happens too much. Mostly from folks outside the U.S. where there are no laws to prevent it. You, the buyer, will lose your money. The best bet is to check feedback and see what other folks think of this seller before you buy.
I'd phrase that a little differently cdb. I'd say your best bet is to learn about what you are trying to buy BEFORE you buy it. Then you will at least be able to recognize a scam when you see one and go elsewhere. We have had many, many discussions about the do's and don't's of shopping on ebay. But the fact of the matter is the majority of those taken advantage of on ebay have themselves to blame. You should not buy things you know nothing about. In this hobby - knowledge is not only the key - it is a MUST !
Excellent advice, when you check thier feedback also look at there return or refund policy. Best collecting to all !
Spider, all of the above is excellant advise, read the feedbacks. I am involed with a situration right now where many of the feedbacks indicated slow shipping and here I am still waiting after 20 days for my purchase. emails.
Just a little tip.If you buy out of the country make sure it is a country that speaks mostly english. Also NEVER NEVER buy from China or shady South American countries.Actually just don't buy from South america. If you buy from any of these countries you are just asking to get a bad deal.
