I was wondoring how you guys make killer listings on eBay. I was looking at DJ's coins, and he has a really nice custom template. How can i make one?
Hi Cody. It's all in the HTML. Insert a table here, a background color there, etc. I could help you out if you want.
Yeah, that would be great. A shipping table, refund table, payment table, and a discription area. Sure i'll take the offer on a logo too! Thanks!
ok. Now, what would you like in the logo? It could be like mine (as shown above) or I could do something different. Just let me know what you want the name to be (i.e. TopLineDMpls), the specialty or whatever below (i.e. Specializing in Quality Prooflike Morgans), and finally the coin photo(s) and background (if any). Let me know...
My old store name on bidville was Mid-West Numismatics, so i would take one with that. I sell a vast majority of things, so i really wouldn't use a subtitle, and can you do a black background with red letters?
DJ... You are going to get real poplular quick with a service like this! I almost started a similar thread but was hesitant as it was a coin forum and not a web design forum... Whats the best way to learn some of the html required to do nifty banners like what you have shown?
Here's my first draft Cody...let me know what you think it needs. If you want a different font, different color, different picture, layout, etc. let me know.
Actually there's no html required to make the logo banners. Just the "know how" for some intense photo editing/creating programs.
Glad to hear it. Now, as for the listing templates, just give me the info that you want in it. Do you want it similar to mine? If so, just tell me the info that you want me to add to it (if you want something in it that I don't have in mine).
I think one like yours would work just fine. Thanks again, i have spent the past couple days looking for a teplate maker, but to no avail.
I'm going to have to make a few modifications to the tables so it's not exactly identical to mine, but I'll make sure it's very similar. I'll get it up soon...
Here's a screenshot of the result: I PM'd you the html code. How well do you know html? If you know it well enough you should be able to input your own data and photos into the correct spots (or change the color scheme if you don't like green ). If you need any more help I'll be around. I'm heading to bed so if you need any help I'll be around tomorrow.
