how long after winning an auction does an average seller normally send the item? I have paid already but have not heard from him in about 4/5 days.
Definitely W/I 4-5 days, usually the next day. What did the seller quote for shipping time in the listing? That item should be in the mail by now.
Most sellers ship the goods without notifying the buyer. In a US seller/US buyer situation you can expect to wait up to 10 days to receive mail, perhaps a little less for UPS ground. If either party is outside the US add at least a week, and for some countries add up to 60 days for surface mail.
They usually ship between 1 and 7 days. Not hearing from him happens in about 50% of the sellers. How did they send it? Priority or first class? I have had priority take up to 5 days and 1st class take up to 15 days from a know shipping date.
Hmm. Most of the sellers I've bought from just send the coin without any contact. 1 out of 25 sellers have actually emailed me to say that the coins have shipped. I always ship within 24 hours of cleared payment and send the buyer an email telling them it's been shipped. I know it's appreciated even though they all go unanswered.
How did you pay for the item? I never hear from alot of the sellers that I buy from unless they send me a tracking number through USPS or Paypal. Take Franks advice and drop him a note to see what he says. Thats what I usually do when I become concerned about an item I think is taking too long to arrive.
Since the postages rates have gone up the time, the time it takes to get a package has been slower. The Flat Rate mail use to take about 3 days....now it can be 4-5.....a First Class package that use to take less than a week now takes about a week and a half. I would give it about 2 weeks, and if you don't get the package then I would write him. Speedy
i talked to them all, except one. Everything should be fine, but I still have to check the missing one.
