Has anyone who sells coins on eBay tried the new "eBay standard envelope" shipping option? I just saw it pop up among options when printing labels and had never heard of it before. Apparently it was meant to ship trading cards valued under $20, but I don't see any reason it can't also apply to coins. Basically it's a label that is the same price (actually 4 cents less) than a stamp, and it has some kind of alternative tracking that just shows when you drop it off and when it arrives. The benefits would be that in theory it can prove shipment and delivery and it allows you to qualify for "Top Seller" status, which you need to have over 90% of your orders shipped with tracking to maintain. As a top seller you pay lower fees and learn the secret handshake.

I sell a lot of cheaper coins so I'm intrigued by this option. I just tried it on my first order and we'll see what happens.

I’ve been using Lettertrackpro for tracking. The problem is that eBay doesn’t recognize it so I’ll never be a top rated seller this way.

Please let us know if it works well for you.
