What's cool about paying 7 or 8 times what something is worth?
    Unless you're the seller.........................

O.K. So I just like to drool over stuff like that. The thrill of ripping open an old bank roll.

hey crooked sellers have been doing this for years. do you actually think they will put anything else good in the roll? the coins are placed at the end of the roll for bait .

If it were me, and I owned a full roll of potential 1909-s VDBs, I would not put it on ebay at all. I'd rip that puppy open right away, no way I would risk a possible $10,000+ roll going for a measly $275 on ebay. The seller already knows what's in the roll...and that is a cleaned 1909-s, a 1909 VDB, and a bunch of junk.

Non cents, in my post I was talking about the roll, not what was inside of it.

Inside of it is probably cull 1950s wheats.

What is this supposed to mean? Even if it were what it says, it's still sucker bait.

Of course it's not an original roll! In my second post I was asking dsmithB4Coins
why he thought the roll was not a real fed roll, not fed warped, but an actual fed wrapper(sorry if this wasn't clear).

So you want to open the roll even though you know it's a joke roll, just because of the paper?

That's a 1909 S VDB I think sticking out of it. Most likely, at least.
Compare where the mintmark lines up with the date, on a 1909 S, and then a 1909 S VDB.
The 1909 S VDB's look to have a shifted "s" mintmark more to the right than normal non-VDB's do.
I could be 100% wrong, but it looks it to me.
This could easily be a setup roll, they have little hand crank things to put these coins into the edge of rolls, and take them out. etc.
The question is, how'd he know the opposite side had a 1909 VDB? Couldn't that be a 1909 S vdb as well?
    sounds fishy

also the the federal reserve system wasn't created until 1913, so this role is clearly not original and basically a fake.

well we knew that already. just further evidence. :)
