Wow, I thought someone might have had a comment on this guys auction. They look like minor die cracks and he wants that kind of a premium on the cents, I think its outrageous. I know people are paying big bucks for the new cent rolls though.
Seems kind of pricey. If I bought a new Buick, and it had a flawed paint job, I'd bring it back to complain! He'd try seeling it for lets see...$34,500 x 38,850 = $1,340,325,000. Plus, if I get the cash for clunkers rebate...
Just seems to me that he is taking advantage of folks who think this is some rare item on the LP3's and some unsuspecting person might walk into this trap. Die break, true ones, are nice and all but seems like they add very little premium or are worth what someone is willing to pay. I have a Washington DC quarter with a die break that I picked up for a slight premium but no where near what this guy is wanting for cents.
