CCGS certainly talks a good game about following ANA standards, and I wouldn't argue with it's grading of that coin, but when push comes to shove .

 

CCGS who are they is that a e-bay thing?

 

Interesting... Definitely a crack-out coin if I ended up with it.

Oh, I don't know. I guess it might be, never seen one like it though, so???

 

I may be wrong, but I thought I remember seeing trade dollars in these "guaranteed authentic" CCGS holders that were obviously counterfeit. I cannot remember if it was discussed on this forum or another one, but I would be cautious.

Maybe someone else remembers something about them.
