You need to place a classified ad in your local daily or weekly newspaper/s

Collectible coins wanted: Paying 50% Red Book for common coins, 70% for semi keys, Up to 90% for key and rare coins. Phone number.

    U.S.A. COINS WANTED! Phone number

World coins wanted...Pay 50% Krause. Phone number

After 3 days you should be getting calls. If you are going to meet people, try to meet them in the lobby of your bank. Or their bank.

I agree with Spider. You can buy 2 rolls of Kennedy P & D uncirculated halfs from the Mint, and with shipping it would cost you $37.90. I see them on E-Bay selling for $1.75 with $1.50 S & H. Each Kennedy would cost you 95 cents, and you can sell them for $3.25.

I know, that is a difficult concept, and I, for one, truly hope that you succeed!
    But, start small.

I have been troubled with the same problem for many months. Quickly reselling stuff on ebay that you bought on ebay is very hard to do, you're just going to sell at the same amount. Buying from other dealers (online and off) and then selling on ebay is also very hard, ebay sells lower than stores a lot of the time. You could buy from the non-dealer public (like the classifieds mentioned above), but that isn't really my thing. That leaves re-slabbing and investing. Browse ebay for items that look undergraded, such as old PCGS morgans or find raw or slabbed morgans that look like they could be graded or regraded to PL or DMPL. Also buy coins like buffs, liberty halfs, and morgans that are raw and look like they could get a high grade when slabbed. Always buy things that you think could go up in the near future, I'm buying a smooth washington, double adams, and commemoratives. Don't forget the commemoratives, buy ones that the mint is still making on ebay (you can get a slabbed one for less than the mint sells it for most of the time), when the mint releases the mintage you could make some money. I'm also gonna buy the franklin comm.

Good luck with selling on ebay, it's tough, make sure you buy low and sell high, don't bother unless your getting a really good deal, or you won't make any or enough money to cover costs. If you have any questions or want to go into some sort of biusness deal or something then just PM me.

I will tell you how a "acquaintance" (via email only) of mine does it. He buys from eBay (and others sources) and then sells on eBay. He has a good reputation and takes excellent pictures plus and I can't figure that out. He deals only in Lincolns and I feel that is where a lot of the potential comes from. There are more inexperienced (for the lack of a better word) collectors for this series than the others. He has received $225 for a fine 09-S and just got $125 for a XF40 24-D, etc. He even often gets top dollar for cleaned coins and he says that they are cleaned. Look up nancye913 on eBay. Look at both what he sells and what he buys.

How to sell on eBay? Easy. Buy for exorbitant prices and sell for no profit or give away at cost. You will be an instant success. No- just kidding of course but sometimes it seems so. My worst one was a 1952 Franklin half that after all was said and done cost me 5 cents to sell plus gas to the post office and wasted time. So I am in the same boat with you guys. The biggie for me is I hate to get Paypal. Darn it I do not have Paypal and I am stubbornly refusing to get it. So that hurts sales.
Then as far as the Kennedys go, they don't always sell. So then what, relist? Didn't sell the second time, relist it again?
No I gave up. What does seem to sell is albums, partially completed blue Whitman folders and sets. US coins only. World coins just sit there with no bids. I don't have the answer.
And right now with precious metals values in the dumpster; I'm not sure this is the right time to sell anyway.
And as always, I ask, how come so few people use the free "open" forum right here? I never get a reply to that one.
If you find the secret to eBay selling make a tape like they sell on TV. Charge people $49.95 to tell them what they know already!

If your young as 14 and you want to start in business already, great for you. Better than roaming the streets and robbing and killing like around here. Now as a suggestion. Here is something you can do with minimum investment. I go to numerous coin shows. At one of the bigger ones there is a dealer that I got to know pretty well over the years. They do a fantastic business at all shows they attend. Thier primary product is modern coins and I mean modern coins. They are not slabbed, just in 2x2's or many in 1-1/2 x 1-1/2" sizes. Small ones are cheaper. Now here is what they do. They go to a bank where they are known. Ask for as many rolls of new coins as possible or they can afford. They now take them home, place in the flips, write MS- and whatever they think they can get away with. It's amazing how many customers they have. Over the years they have expanded to including proof coins in individual flips. They order lots and lots of proofs, break them apart and sell each coin separately.
For a 0.01 Cent from the bank in a 2x2 they charge $1. Nickels are $2. Dimes are $3 or even $4. etc., etc.
    Talk about profit.
Each proof is Red Book priced but if you know them you can get for a little cheaper. They still make a fortune on each proof set. Occationally they also sell rolls of uncir coins right from the bank and also at a fantastic profit. Not sure if they ever tried ebay but why should they. Coin shows almost every weekend around here. Maybe they do use ebay. It's not illigal and they are selling what comes out of the rolls.
Lots of profit if your intersted.
Note also most coin forums contain a buy and sell forum so that could also be a place for that.
