    This is pretty high eh? for an S VDB.. Im not quite sure I would spend 5,000 from pictures like that. But it looks like a nice coin none the less. opinions?
    is this a bad case of lincoln fever again?
    EDIT: I just checked my book and its listed at 7500 in 65, so then did this guy get a good deal? i think its a little outrageous

    I think you missed the link. However, the going price for a S VDB ms65 red on Heritage is $4800 to $5900. Assuming that the one you are talking about is red, that is a fair price today, but that is still inflated by the Lincoln fever.
