Eastern Roman Empire: ca. 476-491 AD gold solidus of Zeno, Constantinople mint

    NGC MS; Strike: 4/5, Surface: 3/5. Cert. #8229797-001. Diameter: 21 mm. Weight: 4.49 g.

This coin is an interesting flipover double strike error, which got noted as "die shift" on the NGC label. The particulars were discussed in a
previous CoinTalk thread by Al Kowsky.

Ex-Al Kowsky, private trade, in exchange for a Boeotian stater, 6 April 2024. Prior provenance to Classical Numismatic Group Auction 489, Lot 584. Acquired raw. I submitted the coin to NGC and had it professionally conserved to remove some deposits.
