I live in New Jersey and have never been to a coin show... where do i find information about shows that are nearby?
Coin World - which should be available in any half-decent bookstore - has a listing every week of show by state. And sometimes, for well-planned shows, you can even find them in CW several months in advance. You can also find a listing at the ANA's website (www.money.org), but I've always liked CW's better.
If you are in Northern NJ, there is a pretty regular Sunday show in Clifton. I don't recall the exact address, but it is near the intersection of US 46 and the Garden State Parkway. It runs at least once a month, maybe more. I went to this show as a teenager with my dad and I was pleasantly surprised to see it carries on.
I have Numismatic News right here and it lists 6 shows coming up... AUG 20 there will be one in Old Bridge SEP 3 there will be one in Parsippany SEP 9 there will be one in Brick SEP 10 there will be one in Burlington SEP 17 there will be one in Clifton SEP 17 there will be one in Old Bridge If you want more info PM me with what one you want info about and I'll send it on.
