To put it simply, what Sheldon varieties are these coins? I bought them when I was first starting out (and I mean really first starting out). Let me know if there is any problem with the photography. The cent is listed as an 1803 in its Mylar holder. Thanks in advance. We have an EAC specialist here but I can't remember his screen name. Anyone else remember it?

okbustchaser I may be old but I still appreciate a pretty bust Supporter

The half cent won't actually have a Sheldon number; they are attributed by Cohen numbers based on The 'Little Half Sisters' by Roger Cohen.

I can't say with certainty, but the 1803 is probably a S-263. There appears to be some die crumbling under the 3 and ONE is high.

    First one looks corroded.
Second one cleaned with a wire brush.

That shows you what I know about varieties!

    Thank you!

Thank you for diagnosing their problems. I don’t think I would’ve bought them nowadays, but they get a pass because they’re some of my first pieces I bought, which explains the condition.

I have some largies and halves that I bought that are in trash condition.
Live and learn. I still like them.

I'm sure you could never find this one up to your standards:

But I just acquired it this week and was happy to do so. Of course, I know how rare it is in any condition (46-60). But I'm sure you can find a very lovely 2018 that's nice and shiny and about 15 Billion just like it.

I don't have any standards. Just pointing out what I saw on the OP's coins.
