    Hey Coin Talk Folks,

I was searching eBay for miscellaneous coins and came across some of the earliest U.S. coins from Half Cents to Silver Dollars as well as others, being offered from a reliable eBay Seller! If you really want to see some nice old U.S. coins, then you might want to check out this Seller's coins at the link below. Besides getting a good education as to what these look like, there is also loads of coins for anyone trying to put together a Type Set or Early Half Cent, Large Cent, Small Cent, Two Cent, Half Dime, Dime, Quarter, Half or Silver Dollar Collection! I must say, that I was impressed by the offering from this Seller and believe that every coin offered is authentic. The only coin that I saw that looks a little questionable, is the 1794 Half Dime but someone may have put some sort of coating on it at sometime in it's life (you will see what I mean, if you happen to check it out).

Based on the Seller's eBay ID, if he or she can't go to College after selling all of these coins, then they don't deserve to go! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:hammer:

Note: I am not affiliated with, don't know personally and as far as I know, I have never done business with this Seller

My loans for school stand at about $52,000 and I don't think my collection would make a dent in that. Too bad.

I've seen this seller's stuff listed on Ebay before. He always has a large selection of rare coins for sale. This guy has been selling on Ebay for quite some time. I think it is more likely that he is a professional dealer than just some kid trying to save money for college.

note to self: people aren't necessarily who they say they are on eBay or in the real world for that matter

Over the years on the internet, I have seen people pull every scam known to man, and a few that weren't. I've seen people die from horrible diseases only to come back to life as another incarnation 4 months later! This is not to say that everyone is lying, because I recently DID lose an internet friend to cancer, the point is that when I meet anyone new, until I can prove otherwise, I take EVERYTHING they say with a grain of salt and NEVER bid on eBay out of sympathy or generosity.

    just my 2¢

Yes, and they just "found" this safe full of coins!

Also, they know nothin' about coins, yet they describe each type perfectly: "1851 Braided Hair Large Cent US"

or: "1838 Coronet Head Large Cent US"

Yeah, they know nothin' about coins and I know "nothin' about birthin' no babies".

More than likely, this Seller's eBay ID is just a gimmick! Heck, Dolly has her' gimmicks and still uses them (the big wigs and the big %#&%! (if you know what I mean!))!

Nice coins but I have to agree with the others. The only place this "kid" is going is to the bank!

Maybe this guy started out trying to get to college in 2005 and just hung on...I dunno. Whatever the case they are nice coins.

That is a great set of coins and an interesting gimmick to try to sell them. But as long as the coin you get is what you payed for who cares what they call themselves ;)

What makes you uneasy is that when you buy high priced coins, you'd prefer that the seller not misrepresent who they are from the beginning (#1), and two not misrepresent how they obtained the coins (#2)...

"Yeeeeh, my name's Vinny, an' my Uncle Sal passed away an' left me all dees bridges. Now I don't knows nothing 'bout bridges but I figger I'd sell some so I can get a few of them bicycles for the orphans down at the orphanage. Please, make a bid."

Now I'm not saying that there's something up with the auction, or that the seller isn't legit. Just a personal commentary, heh.
