It must be legitimate because it doesn't say "10 Available," right?

"Alwaythebes". "Me love you long time, sailor."

I can't see the screen very well. Too many red flags in my way.

I'd agree but the style is horrid. These would seem good for jewelry were it not for them looking nothing like the real thing.

Consider keeping pictures of the entire inventory of this seller. The color and surfaces of the replicas is improving. It will come handy in the future. Do you think these would be so obvious worn down to VG condition?

In the early 19th century the forger Carl Becker had a small box constructed which he partly filled with iron filings and screwed to the springs of his carriage. In that box he placed his newly struck coins and rode from Frankfort to Offenbach.

In the field of US coins there has been some really deceptive work recently. In Baltimore I met Jack D. Young, author of "From the Brink to the Dark Side: Early American Copper Struck Counterfeits & Damaged Source Coins" and saw the coins from the article. There is someone, probably in China, who can repair holes in modern coins so well that I could not see evidence of the work. It was deeply unsettling.

Keeping track of the progress of the new Chinese forgery masters of ancient coins could important.
