    While I do collect a decent amount of British INdia Gold and silver coins, I ran across one of my freind/dealers that had a Dutch East Indies Fanam. I had never seen one and scooped it up immediately. India Fanams are pretty much a dime a dozen and I have several types in my sets. I recently sent the Dutch Fanam off and the grade came back yesterday evening.

    I did not know it would be the lone graded example so Im defiantly pleased to own it. Feel free to comment or post any Dutch Indies coins you have. I rarely see them come out.

    This specific piece is from the Northern India area of Negapatnam which was held by the Dutch till the 1780's

    These are cool. And a good way to get your first gold. I almost got one a while ago but saving up for something bigger :pompous:
