So basically the only dump bank in my area says I can dump 200 dollars a day free. Over 200 is 10 % of dollar amou t should I reroll coins or should I only hunt the max $200

200 a day is quite a lot. Depending on the type of coin. If the 200 is in cents, that's 8 boxes. I think you might be hard pressed to go through 8 boxes of cents each day. On the other hand, if you are searching halves, then it is going to be easy to dump 200 (400 coins).

I would simply plan on going to the bank each day to dump the coins as you get to 200.00.

Of course, that may mean that they then institute a limit on how many times you go each week.

    What are you primarily hunting?

I pratique order halves cents and soon to try nickels. I primarily don't order boxes I go and pick up rolls from the banks and acquire bulk that way. Harder I. Me but the banks don't get so mad as easily. I usually crh summers and over school breaks bc I'm so busy with school

Ok. Smart devices aren't so smart. I mess up a lot too, when I type on my phone or kindle.

Well, I think it just takes some planning. I have dumped as much as about 450.00 at one time. Mixed coins. I haven't done a lot recently because of work and other things, but that's life. I have a box and a half of cents at home I'm working through.

I will probably go get another 3 or 4 hundred in quarters, dimes and nickels to go through soon. I don't do too many halves. My area is bad juju with those, I get practically none. Many of the halves have been marked with initials in perm. marker, too. Plus I recently heard from a dealer I talked to that a friend of his that lives in another area gets halves and searches them, then when he can come to this area, he dumps them here.

Can you open a new account? Many banks offer high school or college accounts that are absolutely free with a very reasonable initial deposit.

And 10% after $200 is, to me, insulting. You're better off going to Coinstar. Is it the tellers saying this, or have you talked with a manager about it? And you do have an account there, right?

I talked with the manager. I do have an account. For non customers I believe it's $100 then a 10% free. What should I do. I'll try retooling coins if it's over $200.

can we please call it something else? Maybe the attitude and thinking of it as dumping is part of the problem.
    find a second deposit bank,
always deposit the money to your account, rather than exchanging for cash. They are a lot less likely to complain if you are leaving the $ with them on deposit.
