Dulles Coin and Currency Expo -- April 25-27, 2008 Anyone else planning on attending? http://www.dullescoinexpo.com/DCCXabout.html This is a fairly new show only been going for a few years now. The first one I went to I was a little disappointed by the amount of dealers or lack of I should say. This has grown though and I believe has great potential! Lots of room for expansion, lots of free parking and easy access. I would like to see this replace the Baltimore/Washington Coin Convention (downtown baltimore, $15 parking) but that’s just me. The line up of dealers is looking good so far. Hope if you’re in the area you'll support this show.
Yeh, I'll be there. Note that it starts on the 24th, not the 25th. My favorite dealer says it's now about the same size as the Vienna show, but has more space. Since it replaces the Crab State show, I would expect it to grow. As I recall the Crab State show was fairly large. I'll skip the Vienna show on the 19th. Always WAY too crowded. ~~~~~~ Oops, the 24th must be dealers only. ~~~~~~ Yep, just confirmed it. The 24th is dealers only.
i might go - several friends have tables, but Vienna is the weekend before as is the Annapolis show. -steve
