    Hi guys.

Last year, I went and bought a Panagor 55mm PMC Macro F/2.8 Lens and an adapter for my Canon T5i.

I needed to upgrade my smartphone, so last month I bought a used Samsung Galaxy Note 9. I'm still playing with it, learning all the ins-and-outs, etc. I do know that it has a decent camera already, but I'm testing a Moment case for it (hasn't arrived yet) that allows you to "snap" on enhanced lenses for the camera.

I'm thinking about getting this macro lens to use with the Moment case (if I end up keeping the case)...

What do you all think? Would I be wasting my money? It would be a lot easier to use as opposed to getting my Canon out, switching lenses, getting my home-made camera stand out, etc.

The results will be nowhere as good as you'll get with a DSLR, and that's a lot of money to spend to find that out. You'll start with both lighting and focus problems, then you'll have issues coming from the difference in the sensors between a DSLR and a phone.
