Here in AZ, seems like most rolls are 80-90% D's, at least for dates since 2000. Tuesday I got 20 more rolls of Quarters, and four had wrappers (all customer wrapped) that I had never seen before. Two were about 65% P's, and the other two were at least 85% P's - I couldn't believe it! I filled in 6 empty slots with recent P's, and upgraded several others with better quality. Going back today to see if they have any more.
Well you timed that one just right. Nice that you could fill those holes and swap out others for better coins.
Congratulations, always good when that happens! Here in the midwest it's pretty equal, where I am I'd say it's about 60% D and 40% P. Arizona's a nice place, I hope I can move to the southwest for a while to escape the horrible winters (and own a nice car).
in florida, it's like 80% P mintmark, but I'm it's a tourist state so we get lots of visitors, the Ds show up still pretty early after release in customer wrapped rolls. If you got a Disney park, you got tourists from everywhere and an early shot at the mintmarks you don't normally see. Still West coast much be nicer for the San Francisco mint marked coins, gotta be better than what I find. it's a rare occurrence that one pops up in cents or nickels even.
S mints are somewhat rare here too not bad though. In fact, the first 30's wheat cent I ever found was a 39-S, which was pretty exciting for me at the time. I wouldn't think I'd get as much as I do because if my location, but it's prime crhing in the Midwest.
