Also curious if an ADC classifies as a MAD or are they 2 different things? Thanks. Was looking here and it seems to match up... http://www.maddieclashes.com/atypical-die-clash-u-s-twenty-five-cent/
Atypical Die Clash. Just learned about it on that site. Sounds fancy. Reverse looks really cool with the feathers and arrows. The obverse is a mangled mess and the hair looks like spaghetti.
You were on the right site for info. There are many types of die clashes. Atypical, Typical, mad die clashes, counter clashes, etc. This is a subject best read over and over again until you feel comfortable in trying to figure if any coin you find presents as any of these. I really can't see much going on here except a lot of damage. But then again, my eyes are not what they used to be.
