Won't be on the boards tonight, I've got to go to one of those sleep clinics tonight so a lot of strangers can hook up to a bunch of stuff & watch me sleep geeezzzzzz this is going to be interesting. Will I be dreaming of neat coins I would like to have or will I only dream of all those eyeballs staring at me:bigeyes::bigeyes::bigeyes::bigeyes::bigeyes:how do I get into these messes. What if I stay awake, I've have a real hard time sleeping as it is:mouth: what if I can't sleep that darn doctor of mine hes loving this:hail:
Talk about dreaming of coins........... I went to the ANA show in LA and was thrilled to see the 4 1913 Liberty nickels on display. How often do I get a chance to actually compare the condition of these coins with each other? The Smithsonian had the best piece. Anyway, that night, I had a weird dream. For some reason, I was transporting one of the 1913 Liberty nickels back to the Smithsonian (don't know how that happened). But I dropped the coin along with a bag of other nickels I bought at the show. Panicked, I searched the street and sidewalk for the lost nickel. I saw thousands of nickels on the ground, but when I examined each one of them, they all had a Buffalo on them! Never thought I'd have a nightmare about Buffalo nickels.
Worst night I ever had, taking the sleep apnea test. You try to sleep with 6,000,000 wires attached to you, hope your not claustrophobic because it takes about 12 minutes to get all the connections and wires off you. Then there are other strangers in other rooms taking the test, you share a common hallway and bathroom. The guys that gave the test were on the other side of my bedroom wall talking loud and laughing. It was a nightmare, I couldn't sleep. Take your favorite pillow and earplugs, and ask if you can take whatever (pills) you take to fall asleep. Good luck.
Oh geezzzzzz , while reading their paperwork I noticed if you 've got to use the restroom during the night you call them & they come unhook some wires so you can :crying: this will be an interesting night:whistle:I hope fushisfinchs buffalos are not roaming around:stooge:do you think the nurse will be hotlips hoolahan & they expect me to sleep
The sleep study is great if you have sleep apnea, they will find out and hook you up to a C-Pap machine. I have had one for a long time best sleep I have ever had. Oh yea you will dream some weird stuff. Good Luck
My wife had to do two of these tests on back to back weeks in May. The first weekend was a disaster.....the c-pap face mask was too small and all she did was toss and turn all night. The amount of wiring involved in one of these studies is truly incredible. The second weekend study fared much better. Larger facemask...less claustrophobia...more positive results.
I got to admit that was one wierd test & yes they put manyyyyyyyy wires all over, especially your head. Now I know what really wired=up means, it was fun trying to roll on your side & draging all the wiring with you after they are done wiring you they leave the room and say :loud:have a good nights sleep, are they kidding
