doubling on 1983 nickel

found this nickel the other day and noticed doubling... mechanicle??

It's either that or die deterioration doubling (or a combination of the two).

 

The "84" and "85"

I`ve witnessed that those two years did put out some rather strange coing,doubled ears,errors with the date,doubling..Having not luck with buyers.With the mint talking about stopping making the penny should increase the pennys value...huh?

 

Pretty outstanding no matter what it is.
