Welcome to Coin Talk @Jake Romig ! Here's a link where you can read about the different types of fancy serial numbers: https://www.pmgnotes.com/news/article/5901/Fancy-Serial-Numbers-On-Currency/ WAIT - It looks like it may be a rotator!!
Doubled double sounds like the famous In-N-Out Burgers Double Double burger, with double meat and double cheese
Yes, very cool bill. In China the number 8 is super duper! Chinese Lucky Number 8. Pronounced like 'ba' in Chinese, number 8 has a similar sound to that of 'fa' and would mean to convey prosperity, wealth and fortune. Therefore, number 8 is considered the luckiest number by businessmen.
All I see is a Flipper Serial Number.. Turn it upside down and it reads 09098888 But that's not considered a Fancy Serial #
Good morning - I saw on that link that "rotator" is a type of fancy serial number that the company recognizes...BUT.... you are absolutely correct (as usual) @paddyman98 because the OP serial number would not qualify as a 'rotator' as they define it. Rotator Serial Number A serial number that doesn’t change if read upside down. The only numbers that can be rotated are: 0s, 1s, 6s, 8s, and 9s. https://www.pmgnotes.com/news/article/5901/Fancy-Serial-Numbers-On-Currency/ You are correct. It is a "flipper" and not fancy...Thanks for the correction!
