Both The Cherrypicker's Guide and Wexlers show hundreds of examples of doubled die coins. Without having read every page to examine every possible variety a quick read of each shows that the vast majority of "famous" or otherwise sought after doublers are identified by doubling on the obverse. Are there any well known and desirable examples where the doubling is only on the reverse side?

    V. Kurt Bellman Yes, I'm blunt! Get over your "feeeeelings".

The first one that springs to mind for me is the 1939 (P) DDR Jefferson nickel.
