    Hi,

I found this coin and i think all letters are double but just a little bit. Is it a significant double ?

    Thanks.

A double means nothing, please further define what you are wanting to know?

I you may think it is a doublED die it is not. Doubling on any coin can and does happen from a multitude of reasons or in my own words, "doubling does not a doubled die make"!

To learn more start reading Cherry Picker's Guilde, going to CopperCoins, Coneca, or Lincoln Cent Resorce.

    Hi,

There are some metal or little hole over the letters UNITED. Look like letters slide a bit down. (pic 1).

With microscope, i can see AM part double( exactly as picture 2) and a little dot under M.

It is not full double but some part of letters. It's like letters are more large near surface. Maybe it's normal but i don't think.

    Thanks.

Pic 1 with the "metal or hole" over the leters looks like plating breaks. Those happen when the outward movemnet of the planchet during th strike exceeds the stretching limit of the thin copper plating. The plating tears and the zinc underneath shows through.
