Double struck Penny Planchet?

Hello Coin Enthusiast. What do you call this one in terms of errors? A double struck planchet? It's definitely an oddball and I like it!. What are your thoughts?

Very nice error coin! I don't know what its worth value wise or what its called lol but very cool. Where did you find it?

 

Last year during Covid Lockdown I kind of got bored and started buying up error coins wherever I could find them. Some were bought in collections,, some were bought in lots,, and some individually. I'm guessing I got a couple hundred at least. Where this particular coin came from is anyone's guess lol They all get put into boxes until my Library is completed.

 

The funny thing about it all is I don't remember half the stuff I bought so it's like Christmas opening up boxes.

Nice double struck, Eric. I think this type is also called a Saddle strike, or Mickey Mouse strike.
