Double Struck 1976 Ike Dollar

    Just got this guy back from PCGS this morning. I actually think PCGS missed the fact that this appears to be a flip over double strike. The area in the strike sure looks like the bottom of the "76" to me.

    Thoughts?

    I think I'm sending this one back for a reholder with the designation.

    Maybe the graders weren't 100% certain it was a flipover D/S... and if they're not certain, they'll just call it as they see it.

    It will eventually. I'm going to have PCGS take another look at it for the proper designation.

    Where do you find a coin like that, nice coin. Let us know if they change the designation.
