    Purchased at the just ended Richmond coin show from a dealer with nice type at reasonable prices. Years ago I bought a 75-S raw, it had a light cleaning and some not unattractive toning, and has about EF details. It will go in the Dansco.
    This one has a nice strike generally ( Liberty) some weakness on the right obv stars;
    on the rev there is nice detail on the eagle's claws and wingtips. My photos don't show the remaining luster very well, it is significant. Color is a nice dusty gray as shown.
    Any and all comments appreciated! I'll post the grade Sunday PM

    Based on your comment about remaining luster, I will go with AU 53

    AU50-53 detail but no luster? So a crusty 45!

    As I hinted there is a fair amount of luster under the toning, although I think 55 is generous.. imo more 50 to 53. What I really like about the coin is its originality and medium gray toning. Thanks for all the guesses! idecided to post tonight instead of Sunday as I have a tendency to forget!
